Is it me Todd ut it seems to me Mike Swick is losing his killer instinct. First of all he fights way too much all over the place, or he used to. He needs to slow down an concentrate on one fight at a time.

yeah i agree. it was a definite gamble fo him to step in on last second notice fo josh koscheck.

i also think he one of those guys that gets hit hard with the weight cut. lots of guys won't admit it but you can lose a lot of performance when cutting, and not even know it. so he of all fighters needs to make sure his prep is good.

yeah, I was gonna make a comment about that as well. People wanna blame the UFC for not putting on every huge fight, like it falls completely on Zuffa's shoulders. They should make shitty deals with M-1, co-promote, and basically just bend over and take it, because they have some sort of responsibility to diehard fans.

Agree, it's their product that sells, which can be seen from the numbers they pull on PPV's. Of course it would be great to have stacked cards all the time and all the best fighters, but that's living in fantasy land. There would be not enough room for fighters like Dan Miller to get recognition on the main card and there will always be new promotions which create new stars who everyone is dying to see in the UFC fighting their champs.

you fight fighters when they ranked whether it's a re-match oh not. 2006 + 2007 gomi was ranked #1, and prior to you bein a fan "grill84" everyone was askin fo this fight in the forums.

i'm not saying the ufc gotta put together all the fights but they was the ones bringing pride fighters to ufc events like they was gonna cross promote and did nothing.

Gomi isn't even ranked, moron, so need for a rematch. And Penn dropped down to 155 after leaving the UFC because he wanted to "fight the no.1 guy on the list" even though he already had won the belt, so a at this point, a rematch between them is irrelevent. Gomi is getting his ass kicked in Vale Tudo Japan pulling a close decision and losing fights in a row.

The UFC was trying to get Cro Cop, Saku, and Wand in 05, but Pride wanted to promote their stars by having them in the audience...

Gomi was ranked no.1 when Penn fought him, then there was Shaolin Ribeiro who had top spot., so what does now have to do with then when thinking of a rematch? Nothing, because Gomi isn't worthy of a rematch until he beats someone of significance. It's a bit hard to get what you mean when you try to be the next Tupac with your spelling. You said cross-promotion, so that would mean before the UFC bought Pride, after that the fights between UFC and Pride fighters have been fought.
