I'm currently 4:45 at the video.... I've paused because I was really... (sigh) that blue lamp thing is a stasis "bomb" that works a lot longer and slows enemies down a lot more. You can throw it at the brute....

zack, you just passed the half-way point. you have PLENTY of money and power nodes you can use. im not gonna spoil the game for you but NOW would be a really good time to start using upgrades and cash. For weapons go: Line gun, force gun, and PULSE RIFLE (machine gun from store, you can store lots of ammo with it), get rid of the ripper (you never use them) and plasma cutter (weak). Upgrade: pulse rifle, line gun, and rig with some health. u saw urself die in 2 hits. its gonna get harder soon.

"Is there a way to recharge my stasis?" Yes. Those stasis modules you keep removing from your inventory. Hit 'Y' when you're not aiming to use a recharge module. Also, those blue canisters that you thought were lanterns are actually stasis canisters that explode in an area effect of stasis when you shoot them or launch them at something.
