In my opinion the best Tsamikos ever, with "An Eagle".Absolutely Greek music characteristic in many areas of Greek country which shows the bravery of Greeks!!!
Tsamikos may have Cham Albanian origins, or shared Greek-Albanian origins in Epirus, but it is very widely celebrated by Greeks today, and Greek musicians would have also composed their own melodies. It's fair to say that Tsamika are danced at every Greek wedding, while I'm not sure how popular the Cham Albanian equivalent is today. Music spreads over time, and there is little point in trying to turn the clocks back or get resentful - just enjoy it.
That was very well done. I'm a Greek musician and Middle Eastern percussionist in SLC. Tsamiko is one of my favorite rhythms. Thank you for posting this.
