hey man I got my game gear on ebay for $20.00! I got Sailor Moon S Japanese and Sonic 2. Should come in mail anyday now. I'm thinking of selling my Nintendo DS on ebay soon. It is okay, but the DS is so freaking hard with the pen thingy sometimes.. plus NO imported Japanese games for DS.. Personally Nintendo sucks for imports ^_^

gamegear games were way more advanced than gameboy games, graphics and speed. also the gamegear had a backlight so u can play in the dark or in a light area. the music on shinobi was sweet aswell.

Yep, I remember that commercial as well. Nice manipulation of background ;) as well as the Game Boy bashing - "Stop playing black&white, play in colour!" - and the price they show does not include the sales tax. Oh, and the image with the tv tuner was terrible from what I heard. Not that the machine was bad, the games were pretty good, but it was very unpractical and it sucked 6 AA batteries very quickly.
