It has ticks under the ritcle like if your target is hundreds of meters you would put your target on the tick...

I think an RCO is the same as an ACOG though... not sure.

In the USMC we call it the "Rifle Combat Optic" or RCO for short, because calling it an ACOG would just make too much sense and nothing can ever make sense in the military. It's the exact same thing, except all standard RCO's are 4x ACOGs instead of your 3x.

I have the same one on my SIG551. Awesome sight, really nice to shoot.

I prefer it over my Aimpoint.

Unless of coarse its an older model or is a 2X or 1.5X...At least that what my local dealer told me when I tried to order the 3x in a red dot. I'd actually like to know abit more about it if it is a true Triji, what model and year it is. Id like to get one for my brother as a present for his AR, if its an older model at least I could know what to look for. I would keep the red dot myself and give him my horseshoe.

Not a real Triji...I wanted a simple red dot 3X when I bought mine. You can only get the 3X red in the Crosshair, Triangle, Chevron, and the Horseshoe dot reticle. You cannot get a simple dot in it. Simple red dots can only be had in the 1.5x and 2x versions of the Trijicon line. I was forced t o buy the horseshoe Dot in the 3x which is pretty similar except there is a red horseshoe around the dot. Also the dot in a triji is alot larger than that one. I suspect a china made knockoff.
