i adore SA but honestly guys, aside from it having no angst, the actual SINGING is really well done in this. If you have ever tried singing wendla's notes in this song, it's incredibly difficult. So are the harmonies. the real reason why you all are so upset is because you are being pretentious musical critics and consider yourselves at a higher class than 90210 and are insulted they would attempt to cover something so artistically brilliant as mama who bore me.

Omg some people are just too STUPID as always. i'm glad 90210 used Spring Awakening because thanks to the show I know spring awakening now ! and I LOVE it. you dont like the version of "mama who bore me" they made, I understand I prefer the original one too. It's the writing. Arrested Development is funny and well directed, Jessica is a fine actress and clearly a very funny woman, but the writing on 90210 is too middle of the road and too mainstream to be outrageous and laugh-out loud like A.D was! Let's keep our fingers crossed for this movie.
