  • Is it possible to get an mp3/4 of this recording?

  • @TenorPlayer1800 Try a you tube dowloader software, or something similar. Jdowlaoder works (just copy the video url). Good luck!

  • I think it's a Sammy Nestico arrangement. One of the greatest arrangers ever.

  • kenny hing is great and the band swings when cleve is on bass

  • it must feel so nice to sit in the horn seats with all that authentic sound surrounding you.

  • HI a im aBASIE NUT sweet georgia browm what swing version from a swinging outfit .barney bear.

  • Amazing performance! I'm in a jazz ensemble and we are playing this exact arrangement

  • Awsome! Saw this exact band in Oslo in the early 80s!

  • @MikeJ6129 This is the sammy nestico arrangement

  • cleveland eaton bass

  • John Williams was such a nice man- he always pretended to remember me when I said hello to him at gigs. He is unique because he replaced his successor on the baritone in Basie's Band.

  • Gregg Fields, real nice man, swingin ...................does he play anymore or just produce???

  • John Williams? Thats too funny haha. I think of Star Wars and Harry Potter John WIlliams.

  • @bassidaniella14 Yes, it's funny! That's another talented musician...

  • Cleveland Eaton is out of sight,no one can do what he does.

  • @OscarPetersonFan

Actually the trumpet section is ( left to right ): Dale Carley, Chris Albert, Sonny Cohn, and Bob Summers.

  • @brian740 All right, thanks!

  • I think that the Bari Sax player is John Williams instead of John Washington.

  • Thanks for the info! I'll correct it.
