Yeah...I'm pretty sure when Jim was making an innocent show for children to watch he wasn't thinking of pot. He was thinking of making the world a better place...Not making the poor fraggle smoke pot.
@glitteringobsession: Exactly. Still, things only adults understood made it into the show, but these were things--outside of smoking (see the "Mouthburners" postcard)--acceptable for kids and adults both, just like the show itself.

@Baloobius i remember when it first came on TV< i was young so this was my show of the 80;s. since it is on DVD< i bought it and relived the magic again. Jim henson was amazing,,,RIP JIM!!!
Singing that sad song made us way too happy has to be one of my favorite fraggle quotes...I've been thinking of making a collection of all the ones I love...The one in Wonder Mountain about being hit on the head by a giant chestnut and driven insane has stayed with me since I was little...*sigh* They just don't write shows like this anymore, it's a shame....
