I had a supervisor who actually mocked our employer. I think that he was telling the employer that he had a good "thing" with his workers and that he was doing his job the right way.
He just had us (the workers) fill out our performance reviews ourselves.............
He never critiqued us; he just simply signed them and turned them in. Case closed.
I've seen the automated review program. You have to fill in the blanks right or it doesn't go through. And then there's the 360. A different manager asks you to review one of their staff you may have met. I always give them A+ 100% so now they don't bother me so much. heh heh.
Oh come on everyone knows it doesn't work like that, the person that out works everyone just gets more work while the fuck-up that knows the boss/knows someone that knows the boss get a rise.
I had 3 performance reviews in my life and thankfully they all went ok. Oh wait, there was that one time I came close to losing my job. Oh yeah, forgot about that one. Ok so that's 4. Chalk one up for depression and crazy women.
And thankfully I've NEVER had to work as part of a team (except for tech support but that's a different sort of team).
But I'd like to have you as part of my team office any day Kim. Aww, you're welcome :)
