Its alright, we aint bothered if Dibs aint not quite singin as good as a Canary,, But as long as Hawkwind carries on, I Just like collecting their stuff, I Like the way that they slightly evolve sometimes,, I Love the Calvert era mostly though,,,
The bassist CAN'T SING! Hawkwind have had some great line ups with talented musicians. Alan Davey (who incidently looked scared shitless when Dave took him to Henge in '84 and couldn't really sing either at that point) and Harvey Bainbridge both great bassists in the past and Harvey was great when he moved to keyboards but this is like watching a wounded animal die! Retire gracefully Dave and let us remember you in your prime!
right then you lot, this is Dibs, ...I am in the process of taking legal steps to stop all this libellous, defamatory and plain insulting bullshit, I will be obtaining names, urls, email etc, and I will find out who you all are (I already know who alshell123 is) you will be injuncted. I suggest you remove these comments, and cease and desist, or face the full power of the law. I do not mind opinion, everyone has their preferences, who is better than who, but this behaviour will not stand anymore
@Richrosev the line up is Dave Brock, Tim Blake, Richard Chadwick (drums), Mr Dibs (bass) Niall Hone (guitar). Richard has been Hawkwind's drummer ages now, in fact he's the longest serving member of the band after Dave. Dibs has been in the band about 4 years, Niall about 3 since Jason Stuart died. You need to get up to date! Try Wikipedia for more details.
Great to see that Hawkwind are still on the road after so many years. They are a bit like a battered, patched-up starship that has seen better days, but can still get into warp drive. They have had so many lineup changes, I don't know who is in the band these days. The only guys I recognise here are Dave Brock and Tim Blake. Who are the others, anyone know? Perhaps Dave Brock can pop into the Post Office and pick up his old age pension on the way home from the gig. :)
By far the best from the december tour. From where I was standing at the Cambridge gig, I could only see half the stage ( due to lods of p*ss heads f*cking about right in front of us)
Havin said this,, Dibs is a Great Bassist, And Hawkwind is doin alrite like this,, the drummer is great, and im a big fan of Tim Blake,,

Why not let Susan Boyle be Lead Singer then,, But only on the condition that she gets her kit off, like Stacia used too,,
