Interesting list. I've listened to George Michael since I was like 3 thanks to my cousin, and I still like the guy. Not too crazy about his newer stuff though. IMO, it's just unacceptable Praying for Time, Freedom 90, and Kissing a Fool aren't here, but that's just me. It's always cool to see what other people's favs are so thanks for this. :)

Interesting. For one, it's interesting that there is no Praying For Time or Kissing A Fool here, and you put Crazyman Dance above Waiting For That Day. I suppose it's a matter of taste/opinion.
No Freedom 90 or Faith either which just goes to show how difficult it is to choose. He's not the most prolific artist but when he does deliver an album almost every track is worthy of a chart release, and yet he prefers to let the people come to the music, unlike every other artist really. I love him.
i cannot thank you enough for reminding me of my love for the track "fantasy". as a teen i was obsessed with george to a point that bordered on unhealthy and i loved the song. totally forgot abt it being a b-side on one of my cassette singles. thks again for posting. i probably could not compile a top twenty list maybe fifty lol.
@juliew625 It was hard and did take me until about 4am haha! There are a few that I hadn't put in there that I love and forgot to put in like Happy or Too Jazzy for example. But yeah, Fantasy is a beautiful song, I do love it a lot. When I first heard it I could not stop playing it for weeks, months even.
I think he has issues and never really liked George, but I must say the older I get I can see the attraction, he is very talented and I really enjoy Fast Love and think will buy the album now. Good job here.

This is a great choice for GM´s songs, but what about with you have been loved? I really think that the song deserves a place among these and not only that its place should have been among the best 10 and jesus to a child, among the best 5.

Their respective albums would have benefitted a lot if "Look At Your Hands" and "Fantasy" were not just B-Sides but actual album tracks. The first is a great rocker and the 2nd a fine dance tune.

Great song choices except I prefer the live BBC version of Strangest Thing and the Prince''s Trust version of Killer. I play my Too Funky single CD alot, the mixes are favorites.

No Praying for Time??? I thought that would be in the top 20.....I think I may be in the minority here, but I think George's Listen Without Prejudice album is his best work.....Praying For Time is the perfect song for today's troubled times......

Great song choices except I prefer the live BBC version of Strangest Thing and the Prince''s Trust version of Killer. I play my Too Funky single CD alot, the mixes are favorites.

Beautiful..Its very difficult to find the bests because there are sooo many good songs but you do have some of George´s best songs here! Very good! The man is amazing. The one beautiful song after another! He is so wonderful! Love you, George! Keep making music!

I think its okay, you didnt choose Faith. He has made so many good songs since Faith, and I honestly think some of the songs he has made after Faith IS better!
