Do people generally accept your FTMness and still date you? I'd go for girls if I did transition, so how would that work..? Would lesbians still go for a FTM?
(3:22-4:24) its funny man i was kind a the same way but my mom went a different way with it, she did everything she could to make me dress like a girl but even from the time i was small everyone though it was something i would of forgotten if they started making me look like a girl but i didn't even act like a girl or feel like one and other people even seen that too so i know where your coming from 100%,And like i was the same way when too i didn't know anything at the time about FTM .dky.
I vaguely recall you stating in a previous video that you subscribed to the binary system. Does this mean yer veiws have changed, or am I misremembering?
@93RebelSon could be an error on my part or yours. Perhaps the error was mine, in not conveying my point clearly. My identity resides within the binary system, I am male. It is quite likely that I said that "I subscribe to the binary system for myself" (vague memory of that exact line) and didn't completely explain what I meant.
@DominoAyeJae Ok. Could you please elaborate on your point then? I'm a bioguy who identifies as 100% male, but simply because I identify this way doesn't mean I follow the binary system; I am just situated at the far male end of the spectrum. Believing in the binary system (to me) implies that you believe only 100% males and 100% females exist. Just because you are 100% male and would fit into the binary doesn't mean the binary is right. What're yer thoughts on this?
@93RebelSon@DominoAyeJae blargh, apparently I'm having trouble communicating my point clearly... I see it as a spectrum, but I identify as completely male. I suppose the better way to word it is that my identity fits comfortably within societies' binary system.
@DominoAyeJae Ok. Thanks. That's what I was askin about. And I apologize; I jist re-read over my comments and found that I may have come off a little cross. That was not my intention. Love yer videos, hoss. Keep em comin.
@JordmanKNOWS- I was shaped like a freakin' pear, dude. I hated my body so much, but I learned how to dress and camouflage/bind all the curves. After I started T, my body shape shifted, slowly, but it did and now 6 years later, you wouldn't even know that I had those "wide load dyke hips". If you are transitioning and you are taking or are going to be taking hormones, just be patient, it'll come.
I share the exact same thoughts as you man. I used to think I would wake at puberty with a dick. You are doing an awesome job about FTM/Trans visibilty.
Is it wrong for someone to transition ftm simply just because they want to be a boy and not so much because they felt the were born with the mind of a guy to begin with?
Yeah..parents, mom is trying to do that to me, she says i have the choice to be gay or a girl which i hate both, i'm neither a girl or gay~ i'm a straight male, yet she says nope, your a girl and should stay as one...sucks but i'm only 15 what can i do? but she's only doing this b/c she's worried that i will get hurt and not live a happy life..yet right now i'm not so happy..i just hope she has a change of mind, either that or i seriously think i'll kill myself~
you are so open about your life, it never seems to amaze me! Wow, and I am 10 years older and not half as open about my feelings....Gets me to thinking a lot. Thanks to you and looking foward to your next vids.
Thank you so much, Ty. This is really helpful for me as someone really important in my life is going through his transition right now. He's scheduled for his surgery in February and I've been showing him your videos to show him that someone his age is showing his story for the whole world to see.
i disagree that you can't be mad at your parents for trying to squash out your trans-ness though. i am absolutely mad at my parents for setting my transition back decades. you have every right to be mad if you want to be.
hey man u asked about coping mechanisms wit dysphoria my self personally have had the total opposite xperience wit my mom growin up, i think tht and been in a country which is much more "understanding" (not in all places/cases) has helped me alot.. in saying this i still have a great deal of dysphoria BUT i dont allow it to control my life and/or thinking... to an extent ive learnt to accept the skin i live in is mine there r jus some things i dont like
