my friend has spent about 5 years putting a supra engne in his Crassida. the only performance mods he has is a turbo and it goes FAST. We were at a red light and a Nissan Skylane sped off we not only caught up we left them behind.... well and tully behind. They are good cars to have done up :D lucky you could buy it like that and didnt need to fuck around doing it yourself

For all u 7m owners! Ever notice why heads keep blowing? Toyota on the assembly line had all 7mge head bolts 20-30 ft-lbs below minimum torque. I figure is share the reason why my mx83 is giving me headaches.

i got one with only less then 70 k miles on it stock maybe i paid like 1k for it ,

(only paid 125 a month til paid off but the guy then when i got nearly paid off he slashed the price out of generosity! plus i traded in a bronco for it)

Trust me, the 7mge, is a VERY powerful motor. this one just needs some tunes ups, n lots of work. My stock 7mge i have in my 1984 supra p-type runs 13.3 secs. I HAD a 7mgTe but it blew a hole out the block you can fit your fist in, before she blew i ran 12.2 secs in 1/4 mile completely stock. just very very clean. A vw polo does like 29 secs in a 1/4 mile. lol Dont "EVER" put Vw and supra in the same paragraph unless your dogging Vw. Its like saying your gonna blow up the white house.

you should turn off power ects it would redline and be faster, urs might have a blown hg cus i rebuilt mine and it throws me back its faster than this one for sure

Turn O/D back on and turn ECT-S on. You recorded the slowest way possible to accelerate in this car. Do Cressida's and their enthusiasts a favor and do this over with O/D and ECTS on.

30% of average cars carbon footprint is in manufacture so having 10+ year old car means u emit less carbon even if car actually pollutes more from exhaust.
