Cheap way the find your Missing Hamster

One of my hamsters got out of its cage on time and I thought that I had lost it for good but I found it TWO days later behind the curtains in my dining room with piles of food in each end. Literaly, the piles were huge... Must have came back to the cage and out a few times. Genius.

i dont mean to be mean but if my hamster runs away there is no way to find her... i have 3 cats and 2 dogs, so if she ran away se would either be crushed, eaten, or both. btw Check out my hamster videos. This is an awesome idea! I will keep this in mind for if my Pepper escapes again. I learned the hard way that you have to hamster proof the whole house. Glue traps for bugs are especially dangerous to hamsters.

Hah, I wish I had seen this video before I lost one of my gerbils last year - he had sneaked through a hole in a cupboard that we hadn't known about! Took us hours to find. Luckily we did though. It would have made life easier if we had seen this video before though!

thaks so much when i went it to room to see the bags my hamster was eating some treats then i went into my closet then i grabed her with my dress and then i put her in my cage! thank a lot! :D plus i subscibed! ;D

i saw mine running ard outside the cage one nite, i put it back..then the next day early morning, feeling afraid and it really gone..i look under the sofa..i hoping it still in the house as the door gap underneath is huge..then i spot it as it run from sofa to tv set....i figure it must be hungry as it was out all nite..then put some seeds, n caught it!!! it is all black ( it is a robo)..poor thing must b exhausted..wat an adventure...although i find it cute seeing it running ard freely..

i forgot my hamster out of his cage for like 3 hours once and i have 5 cats .... after i was finished showering i went to his cage and seen it was empty so i went to my bed (i have lots of things on my bed) and i didnt wanna move anything in case he got squashed so i said "cupid" and he came out :P i was so scared.

Idk if this counts but one of my jumped out of my hands when holding her in my bed room... first thing I did was cover up the gap under the door, then I cleared out a few boxes from under my bed so I can keep an eye on her. Then it hit me, use the thing my hammies love most... there wheel xD. I put it in a direction which when she got on she wouldnt see me coming, Within 2 minutes of setting it, I caught her! I never realized how fast there little legs go, lol.

AHHH So I was on vacation and I left my hamster home, my friends were taking care of it for a week. When I got back it was GONE!! They say it was there the last time they checked. Its a fairly new hamster (i got him 2 weeks ago) and I HAVE 4 CATS!! He could be anywere. My cats dont usually eat hamsters, rats, mice, etc, but i got home like 3 hours ago, I AM FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I <33 Mr. Sniffles! Now hes GONE! :'( if u have any other tips, that would be GREAT!!

once my friends hamster had babies and was trying to give her babies some milk, but then my friends age 6 little cousin KEPT TOUCHING THE MOM and the mom couldnt give them milk... :( and my friend told her to STOP and she wouldnt, so she told her cousins dad to tell her to stop or else the babies will die!!! and hes like, c'mon, shes only 6 and for another 10 minutes my friend went to check on her and all the babies ears turned black and were dead, i was so PISSED OFF to hear that!

@spongebobisc Pearl had a total of 8 babies and because she couldnt take care of them all, she ended up killing and eating 2 babies out of the 8. The last 6 grew up healthy and were rehomed. :)

I get a little igloo house put some bedding in it and a water bottle and food bowl usually I find them sleeping in the igloo by the morning. I have had many missing robos bc I have a cage with wires and robos r very small

When I first lost my hamster he was in my closet and my closet is pretty messy and in the first corner there was a piece of carpet missing and in the last corner we saw him making a little den. We also saw the piece of carpet shredded up!!!

the easiest way for me to find my hamster is check behind the fridge. Whenever i lose one of my hamsters, they always end up behind the fridge. It was the same for my first hamster, who made a hole in the wall and stayed there for a night before I found him. second hamster never escaped, even though i had accidentally left the cage door open for 3 hours, third hamster escaped and ended up making a nest back there & same for fourth hamster, who's escaped the most. XD
