Cool. The Surfer is very much like a Flying Submarine which we kids learned from each other in 1966. The Surfer is better. The difference is the stepped-up tips. On Flying Submarines, the front tip is exactly the same, but the flying surface is left flat with either turned down or turned up edges to the wing.  Turn-ups fly in a more orthodox way, but turn downs have some neat propeties such as always landing smoothly on a flat surface. Over hot ground a turn-down FS will climb indefinitely.
