Feldman Law Center has defrauded thousands of people and even cost some their homes. Steven Feldman is under investigation by the State Bar and Falderal Trade Commission. Do business with him at your own risk. You are better off contacting HUD. HJD will put you in touch with an agency that will complete your loan modification free.  You will not have to deal with cash upfront fees, low life inept lawyers and clerks charging you thousands of dollars for sloppy work.

Maybe it'll help. But anyone using the word "Federal" who is not Ferderal in advertising under U.S. Code Title 12 is a violation. Has anyone found a legit lawyer who will take on mortgage fraud. I'm not looking for modification lawyers or audits. I'm done and sick of that.

Just keep in mind, that this guy (Steven Craig Feldman) is under investigation by the State Bar and has a D rating with the BBB. His BBB rating, which he was likely paying for, went from A to D within three months, due to complaints. Go and see his compaints on BBB's website.

If you're not bearing false witness you should be checking the laws to find out that, unless feldman is operating under a real estate license, then they can take an upfront fee. Even if they were operating under a Real Estate license they could take an upfront fee as long as they had the right paperwork. I don't know about Feldman, but some (albeit only a few) are really doing some good. Just try to do your own modification... unless you're retired, you don't have enough time.
