Similar feeling i also had wen Firefly ended afther 1 season and made a movie i would have prefered instead of 1 season and 1 movie 5 or 6 seasons per season like 25 a 30 episodes whitout 1 movie could Sereniti.
My total favourite was when Harvey took over John(both times). He started acting so funny(terribly sorry, didn't see ya there).
