I recently follwed along with your video on installing YellowDog Linux and it all was very helpful, the only problem was when i typed "install_ps3_720p on the kboot" my tv went blank and nothing happened afterward i dont know what to do. Now i am stuck at that page where you type install_ps3_720p and i cant go on from there. It is the last step so im pissed, and would really appreciate if you could help.

Snakelondon...yellow dog linux is designed for the playstaion not ubuntu. This is why Ubuntu runs real slow comared to Yellow dog. Also, playstion is working hand in hand with them. They just released some more memory and are talking more processor speed increases. Yellow dog has reall suport for thr playstation unlike Ubuntu.

Ubuntu is flashier then yellow dog, this is why so many idiots are going there.

y so negative. i keep linux on the ps3 to have a pc as well when i travel. although it takes a short while to boot up the browser smokes the ps3 browser, that saves time in the long run. also playback of media files!! linux will run ogg files easily. niether xbox nor ps3 have good video compatibility but this way you can torrent and watch. just cuz it doesn't work 4 you it don't mean you gotta be negative. plus vista blows

bs. windows vista, either 32 or 64 bit, takes LONGER than 25 seconds. it takes at least 50-130 seconds. i have a computer, 2.8ghz core 2 duo 4 gigs ram pc that uses vista ultimate and it takes a minute to start up.
