I reckon avoid small sharp weapons like knives, I don't really think they're gonna do much to an undead. I'd say now, before the outbreak happens gather as many blunt weapons as possible, golf clubs, baseball bats and stuff.. Also build up a collection of flint so you can make spears. Remember, the faster you can take the zombies out, and the further away you can take them out from, the better. And don't use fire. The only thing worse than a zombie hoard is a zombie hoard ON FIRE

Day 1: find all loved ones, take the capable and kill the incapable as to not worry about them later. Take remaining to a sports shop that has not been previously looted, and steal/buy everything you see a need for to survive, take supplies to a boat. Leave with guard, spend alllllllll remaining money on propane and gasoline. Take back to boat. sleep and hope you live to day 2.

I think if there was a zombie apocalypse people would become desperate and form their own communities and possibly become hostile to any people not in their community, thats the only time i would use a gun, against other people. lol
