This is not bad....generally speaking I think Genesis got better with age.....don't wanna say it too loud. Some of their songs are good middle grounds between the two eras.
The person who disliked this is too big to fly, ugly so they must die, got a hoiok in their throat, or expected to hear a voicse but only heard a (synth?) solo!
Abacab is such an awesome album, although it took me years to actually admit. I'm a huge prog fan, and Abacab is so...different, But there's something mysteriously cool about it. They should totally have left Naminanu and Submarine on the album, though.
@borgduck I know, I know. I love all Genesis, even Calling All Stations (well, a bit). I just didn't know that the forwardslash divided the track into two songs. I thought the forwardslash meant "Either a Dodo or a Lurker" as in "You can call it both a dodo and a lurker, we're not sure which one it is."
This is THE best Genesis song of the 1980's period, followed by "Mama."
The background keyboards in this are way better than the Three Sides Live version. However, the "Lurker" keyboards are better in the other version. Oh, I wish they can merge the two!
great track(s)...thankfully lacking Tony's minor chords

There's just no way to deny the awesomeness of this song, despite what you may think if the "Phil era"

This is how 2009 remasers could sound if loudness wasn't there.
Love the song, superb love the lyrics and the mix is DYNAMIC!
Thanks RayMaky for this and all Genesis songs you've been uploading.

@FuyuAkiWorld Huh? It's two songs in one? I thought the forwardslash in the song title meant "Dodo or a Lurker" not "Dodo, then Lurker"
Woah, I have a whole new outlook on this song now : /

Where drums, bass and keys meet in terrible harmony. An arrangement born in molten hell and metal.
