This is one of the best performances of this song I have ever seen and I have seen a lot. Musicians today are different that Janis and Kris, they have synthesized voices and computer enhancements. To hear Pink do this live, acoustic and really well shows she does have talent. Let the arguing about who you prefer just slide and enjoy the music. Kris has written hundreds of songs for a wide variety of artists-heperformed this song on his first album but it wasn't untl after she died most folks knew this. I don't believe there is any documentation anywhere that implies Kris was not pleased with the way janis performed his song.

In Italy a singer called Gianna Nannini did a Bobby McGee's version at the end of the seventies. She did a good job, but this one...is the best version I've ever heard:-) Well done.
