My sisters inlaws and 2 friends stopped in at a town along the Nullabore on a Wed.A favorite movie was showing Thurs.The sales person said what time tomorrow so they pitched a tent 10kms furthur on & 100 mtrs in.The next day they went back to town,ate lunch & went to the theatre,the movie wasn't showing.When they protested the sales person said "No lady you asked me Wednesday & I told you tomorrow,today's Friday".This was recorder in 2 diarys,it was too hot to sleep an extra day all 4 people.
Me and my mate fresh out of England hitchhiked from Sydney to Perth in 1965. took us 8 days. The nullabor was just a dirt track then. The snakes and lizards scared the shit out of us. Havnt been to Oz since 1970, planning on a trip in a months time, want to do the nullabor trip again.

That was great stuff. I was thinking as I watched how being so flat you probly wouldnt experience much damage even if you did fall off to sleep at the wheel and run of the road. Great spot for a car race. Thanx for the trip. :o)
lucky i wasnt out and about on the weekend and spottede you, would ve been a real spin out seeing a mccolls truck way over here, move 3000 km from home and see a truck rolling through from our home town
