Though I can see why you would compare them to DragonForce I would compare them to Dream Theater... they even give thanks to Dream Theater in the booklet that came with the CD Paradise Lost which is the CD this song comes off of...

The only people who would really compare Symphony X to Dragonforce are people who have only heard less than ten metal songs not made by Metallica or Distubred their whole life.

They're more Prog than Power, IMO. A bit closer to DT.

DT imo is incredibly talented, but i do not like them anymore since their album "systematic chaos".

in my point of view, this album totally abolished DT's rep. Symphony x, however, is one of my favorite bands, after Sonata Arctica; but i guess every band has their ups and downs:)

Great Chart, great song, I liked it a lot. One problem though, as the same with Through the Fire and Flames. Not that I am saying I like Dragon Force or that I don't love Symphony X, or that they are even comparable but...this is Guitar Hero, not Keyboard Hero lol. I wouldn't have written out all of those keyboard solos, cuz it's not guitar. Through the Fire and Flames gets the same criticism.
