Revivals literally change cultures. The Lakeland revival did not change America. The Pensecola Revival did not change America, the Holy Laughter revival did not change America. We've yet to see a full-scale revival sweep America, like that of the Azusa Street Revival and the Jesus Movement of the late sixties and earlier seventies. So far no such revivals.

My church has been collectively fasting and praying doing various types of fasts this whole month. Most of us are doing a Daniel fast. A friend of my led to Todd's website and I saw that he is coming to my town the very day after we end our month of fasting and praying...Coincidence I think not. I can't stand the fact that there are people out there who name the name of our God and use it for such false teachings.

I don't agree with much of what Spurgeon has to say here really, it is one thing to "corroborate scripture" as you say, and another thing entirely to make your own doctrine. Where in here does Spurgeon back himself up with scripture, then? He doesn't, and for good reason.
As for the statement you make about biblical doctrine and Adultery and divorce, Im not going to cast any stones here and I don't believe you should either. When it comes to naming sins, and judging ones salvation, it is not scriptural to do that either. Yes, I agree. Smith Wigglesworth was GENUINE. He was not a fake miracle worker. He yielded to God and God used him mightily. Do we ever see a "Smith Wigglesworth" in these Last Days? Sure, if we yield enough for God to use us for the extension of His kingdom on earth. Miracles are NOT dead yet. A friend of my led to Todd's website and I saw that he is coming to my town the very day after we end our month of fasting and praying...Coincidence I think not. Todd Bentley is not a spirit. When it says test the spirits, it refers to actually testing spirits when they talk to you. Some spirits masquerade as angels and may bring false ideas. It had nothing to do with teachers. It is written that, "you will judge them by their fruit".
As far as I have seen, people who went to the lakeland revival showed some team spirit, grit, determination and hunger for God. He was certainly doing God's work

I've seen that, yes...scared me to death. It's even scarier when you listen to audio of it - you could swear it's a Halloween sound effects CD. When they say it's the Holy Spirit, I immediately think of that passage where Paul discusses the fruits of the spirit, and one of them is self control.

And says that some people shouldn't even read the bible at certain times? Can you back that up with scripture, I do not see any biblical basis for that statement. Enter into its heavenly "mysteries"? As far as Im concerned the bible is basic truth, not a mystery to be unfolded.

Listen to the video, you quote Charles Spurgeon as gospel yet you do not make one reference to actual scripture. 11:20-17:52...is the total time spent on Charles Spurgeon, yet another statement was at 16:38, which I find rather ridiculous, where he says God wishes us to be "slingers", we have to "fetch his truth down from lofty places"?

Oh, I see... you are uninformed about the video. That isn't me. That's Todd Friel of Way of the Master Radio. I don't discount his use of Spurgeon, though. I don't think that Spurgeon should be put above Scripture by any means, but I do believe that great men can corroborate Scripture. I'm not sure if you endorse Bentley, but if you do, since you're so concerned about Biblical doctrine, what do you think about the doctrines against adultery and divorce? Seems to apply to Bentley, does it not?

I don't agree with much of what Spurgeon has to say here really, it is one thing to "corroborate scripture" as you say, and another thing entirely to make your own doctrine. Where in here does Spurgeon back himself up with scripture, then? He doesn't, and for good reason.

As for the statement you make about biblical doctrine and Adultery and divorce, Im not going to cast any stones here and I don't believe you should either. When it comes to naming sins, and judging ones salvation, it is not scriptural to do that either. Todds personal life is being dealt with and does not deserve to be publically humiliated as some are trying to do here. His "sins" don't make him any less of a "christian" than I dare say do yours or mine, do they?

To the question of whether or not Bentley actually hears the Holy Spirit, I found a good quote by Saint Peter of Damascus:
"There is nothing astonishing in the fact that the devil assumes the form of 'an angel of light' (II Cor. 11:14), for the thoughts that he sows in us also appear to be righteous when we lack experience."

Romans 10:8-10..."That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
Todd is as saved as you or me, by the bibles own standards, to judge his salvation is NOT yours or anyones place. He is not moving in satan, for satan takes credit, but Todd gives all glory to God, there is the proof you need.

ya, everyone likes to use that verse but I dont think its being used quite appropriately. Judging anothers salvation is not anyones job but gods. The way to know is by what scripture says, and from what I have seen, Noone is doing the work of satan here, however blinded and deceived or not understanding you might think of him, he is not a so called "false prophet" designed to lead people away from God.

A tumor is sometimes a demon. A friend of mine she can see demons when god, shows them to her. Once there was a boy with a tumor. God showed he the a demon holding its hands into the boys stomouch holding the tumor. She told her husband about it, then he said "get lost in jesus name" 3 times and the demon fell onto the floor, Fleeing. the tumor was gone after that.

Yes, I agree. Smith Wigglesworth was GENUINE. He was not a fake miracle worker. He yielded to God and God used him mightily. Do we ever see a "Smith Wigglesworth" in these Last Days? Sure, if we yield enough for God to use us for the extension of His kingdom on earth. Miracles are NOT dead yet. I am not like most Baptists who opine that the Ministry of Healing of Jesus Christ died when the last of His Apostles left this earth. I don't buy that anyway. I'm a Pentecostal Baptists, if I may say so.

People ARE NOT to compare Todd to Smith Wigglesworth, Smith generally prayed firmly with the sick/infirm. Friend saw Smith in the 20,s MIRACLES real, wonderful. Smith walked in the fear of God, MUST return to the church. Tyndal was hung then burnt he truly lived a martyr's death for his actions.Smith's emphasis was SALVATION, healings to be 2nd.LIVED a very clean life. There were 20+ raised from the dead in his ministry He LIVED for the LORD. Todd is to be left in God's care.
