That is the best built barn I have ever seen. It survived a fight between Apocalypse and Supergirl, Apocalypse and Superman, and a Superman induced Tornado all with only half it's support beams.
His omega beams have 2 abilities. But foe somereason the Omega sanction doesnt work on Kryptonians. So hes limited to using them as concussive energy beams. Can anyone explain why Supermans never vanished when hit by them?

He also mentioned that her body metabolizes sunlight more efficiently than Superman's body as well. Superman is either close to his prime or is in it right now. Supergirl has a while to go yet. If she continues to develop, she can surpass Superman in power.
@CGonzales033 - i'm not so sure she is a teenager; this movie kind of hints that Kara might be older than Kal. she has memories of Krypton (including her mother's name and the explosion), and if you look carefully at the flashback, her legs appear to be full grown.
@MarcTaker Kara was older than Kal when they took off from Krypton on seperate ships. Kal reached Earth first. Kara arrived later because her ship took a longer route to get there. She was also in stasis while on her journey so she did not age. By the time Kara's ship landed on Earth, Kal already spent years on earth and grew older than Kara. Hope that helps!

I'm a fan of Supergirl so I'm hoping with this reboot she will be given a different path since she was originally killed off in 1985.

Its just that superman has spent a lifetime training to restrain himself, so he doesnt normally unleash his full strength. Whereas supergirl doesnt have that level of restraint

@SenjiroAkechi I think it was fair. Both male and female superheroes get their day in the sun. Superman did just as well as Kara in the fight (if not better) and he incinerated an army of Doomsday clones. Batman was the real hero on Apokolips and Darkseid is the boss no matter what. It's kinda nice that Kara, the Furies, and Barda are more fleshed out and aren't just eye candy. Wonder Woman is a big league-er too so she kinda has to be a badass.
@OriginMSD He did far worse than Supergirl. He got knocked out and ko'd near the sun, and that is what got him enough of an amp to bring him back to fight. And even then he did not exactly dominate portions of the fight like Kara did. Its pathetic. The whole time in the movie they were trying to hammer home the point that supergirl is more powerful. Which is bullshit. They are both kryptonian, except one is male. That is the difference. I have no issue with other female chars.

He also mentioned that her body metabolizes sunlight more efficiently than Superman's body as well. Superman is either close to his prime or is in it right now. Supergirl has a while to go yet. If she continues to develop, she can surpass Superman in power.

@CGonzales033 - i'm not so sure she is a teenager; this movie kind of hints that Kara might be older than Kal. she has memories of Krypton (including her mother's name and the explosion), and if you look carefully at the flashback, her legs appear to be full grown.

@MarcTaker Kara was older than Kal when they took off from Krypton on seperate ships. Kal reached Earth first. Kara arrived later because her ship took a longer route to get there. She was also in stasis while on her journey so she did not age. By the time Kara's ship landed on Earth, Kal already spent years on earth and grew older than Kara. Hope that helps!

@MarcTaker You're very observant. Most people would have missed that Kara was older than Kal when her ship took off. I just knew it because that was how it was explained by the DC writers. I'm a fan of Supergirl so I'm hoping with this reboot she will be given a different path since she was originally killed off in 1985.

@MarcTaker actually there is a fair bit of evidence to suggest that superman is just as powerful as, if not more powerful that supergirl. Its just that superman has spent a lifetime training to restrain himself, so he doesnt normally unleash his full strength. Whereas supergirl doesnt have that level of restraint

@SenjiroAkechi I think it was fair. Both male and female superheroes get their day in the sun. Superman did just as well as Kara in the fight (if not better) and he incinerated an army of Doomsday clones. Batman was the real hero on Apokolips and Darkseid is the boss no matter what. It's kinda nice that Kara, the Furies, and Barda are more fleshed out and aren't just eye candy. Wonder Woman is a big league-er too so she kinda has to be a badass.

@OriginMSD He did far worse than Supergirl. He got knocked out and ko'd near the sun, and that is what got him enough of an amp to bring him back to fight. And even then he did not exactly dominate portions of the fight like Kara did. Its pathetic. The whole time in the movie they were trying to hammer home the point that supergirl is more powerful. Which is bullshit. They are both kryptonian, except one is male. That is the difference. I have no issue with other female chars.

Darkseid was more or less toying with Kara, and because of her training she caught him off guard. I think saying off hand that Kara is portrayed as stronger and that it's bullshit overlooks other more interesting dynamics in the movie. And besides, she is the star. lol
