  • These are same people who called Nelson Mandela a "Terrorist" and declared ANC as terrorist organization...now they are in sleeping w/ ANC and Madela is respected as great hero in US.

  • Dude this attack was designed to continue the cycle of hate so that Israel can continue with its "defensive" policy. The aim was to stir up so much hatred amoung the Palestinians that finding a solution ie: 2 state solution would not come about for decades to come!

  • Perhaps has something to do with elections?

  • Yes there seems to be a trend of Israeli leaders kicking off before an election.

  • Thirdly, I believe the whole objective for this crime is because Israel wants build the 'greater Israel' (search on google to see the map), the so called 'their holy land'. But let us not forget during the Palestinean rule all religions, including Islam, Christianity and Judaism lived there together inpeace (fully practising their faiths), so that would still be the best solution, the two-state solution is just so that people forget the reality.

  • Perhaps that would be the best solution, but in today's day and age, I dont think that its possible for it to happen.

Yes, Hamas is legaly elected by the Palestine, I recognize that, but they do fire missles into Israel, and I dont support that.

Now their may be debate over legality and right of Israel and its existence, and depending on the side your're on, Hamas are either freedom fighters or terrorists.

  • One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

If you lived in a flat, and someone broke in and took over and than told you, you coud stat in a metre by metre space, and than does'nt provide any food for you and doesn't allow u t leave, and u have a tape player, u would put that on to the max volume to disturb that person to get the meassage across, but he would come and smack u around the face.

  • "One mans terrorist is another man's freedom fighter."

I agree. Thats why the situation there is so complicated.

However many experts and analysts says Hamas couldn't care less about Palestine or its people because of how they stock piled their weapons around civillians in this conflict.

Now, does that give Israel an excuse to bomb everything in the proximity just because "Hamas was there"? No, it doesnt, because thats doing exactly what Hamas wants them to do, so Israel's image is stained

  • By the way how comes Isreal can have weapons and Hamas can't?

Remember, Hamas does not have any aiming power with their rockets, so it can not be claimed they are aiming at civilians, they are just try to let the world hear their cry.

Reagrding Obama, he would definatley support Israel, type on youtube 'Barack Obama at aipac' also search aipac on wikipedea.

If you want to listen to news about Palestine, check Press tv out.

  • 2007smas is right about the hamas rocket fire, it has no military benefit and it is in frustrated response to Israels continued mistreatment of the Palestinians. Israel has been illegally taking land since 1948 and if they stuck to the 1947 borders hamas would not have been born in 1988. They did not become militant until 1992 as an Islamic alternative to the PLO, who in extremist eyes, where( 90's) willing to settle for peace under Israeli terms that would be unfair to Palestinians.

  • I happen to recognize Israel's place because they have been there since 1948, me being born in 1992, it would not be right for me to say they are out of place.

Both the United States, Soviet Union, and I beleive Britain signed a document giving Israel its existance. Now, does that give Israel the right to behave the way it does? Absolutely not

  • How are the United Nations, British and the Soviet Union to give them a land, which doesnt belong to anyone of them?

  • Who it belongs to is debatable as well. The Jewish people have roots in that region since the biblical times, and Palestine was under British control in 1917 when the League of Nations first approved of this plan.

  • By the way,the prohet Moses (whom the Jew believe in)ask them to fight in Palestine, cause their is a tyrant ruler there (this was after they were saved from Phoroah)but they said to him you and your lord go and fight, once we you are done than will come in.From that day onwards God mad that land forbidden for them.History is evidence, everytime they took control, they were destroyed. They were their during the time of Jesus, but when the killed him(as chritians claim)they stayed 4 little time.

  • Are you saying the Jewish religion forbids them the land?

  • No im saying who this land belongs to is varied depending on who you're talking to

  • I was asking about what 2007smas was trying to say about God forbidding them. Who's God? Is it in the Jewish religion that the Jews where forbidden?

  • Have you not heard of the orthodox jews?

They clearly state that what the Zionests are doing is totally wrong. They say the Jews can not have that land until the messiah comes.

Try to do a search on the Jewish, Christian and Muslim scrptures, they all say the same thing, and they all claim to believe in Abraham/Ibrahim as their forfather.

  • These Jews are of German and Polish descent with no possible ties to Abraham. That is NOT their land.

  • The U.N do indeed have a large responsibility for this whole mess and for alowing America to take control.

  • Secondly, the plot of Earth called Israel is an occupied territory. The Palestineans even today walk around with documents proving that that house in which that Israeli lives in, is built on my land. The Palestineans are showing prove to the world, but yet the world turns a blind eye to them.

The land is occupied by terror and the world should deal with state terrorism before moving to deal with small terrorist groups and individuals.

  • You have made some good points, but I wanted to mention a few things.

Firstly, why do you not support Hamas?

It is the legitimatly elected body for the Gazan people, infact the only democatically elected body in the Arab world, and it is the ressistance force for them, fighting for what is theirs.
