Shannon Noll sounded like a bleating sheep when he sang. He never should have got down that far in the competition. Some really good people were voted out first and shouldn't have been.

of all the contestants in australian idol 1, cosima has the biggest voice. her voice is like country/rock. she has no problem in singing big songs because she has big voice. but she look and sounded old. sebastian on the otherhand, looks and sounds refreshing.

this is outstanding surprised this performance didnt get her in the top 12, but Predictable was superior! I feel Cosima and Guy would have been the match up of my dreams just like AI should have Tamyra vs Kelly....But I want her to cross over to the States!!!

She CAN sing, but even if she didn't pull out of the comp (paving the way for Noll) Sebastian STILL would have won.He is more diverse & can sing anything.

I wish she wasn't in this series of idol. If ONLY she had of held back just one year..she would have won.IMO NO-ONE could have stopped Guy from winning this year, BUT, Cosimo would have given Guy Sebasition a run for his money than Noll EVER could. Don''t get me wrong, I think Noll is good, but he is not of the same calibre as them.

@SparkysSparklers Has nobody read the facts? Shannon Noll is the most successful idol (Australian) since it's begun. If he wasn't of their calibre, why was he so much more successful? 3 multi-platinum albums and 8 number 1 singles, not to mention other highly successful ones. Guy Sebastian has never came CLOSE.

@IXIScarecrowIXI Hey I'm not knocking Shannon, I'm a huge fan. I have all of his albums, and I've seen him live 6 times. My point was, that I believe Cosima would have given Guy a huge run for his money. Guy, in my opinion, was unstoppable that year, particularly after he sang climb every mountain.

Shannon is very successful, and has outsold Guy (I imagine, but don't know), however, both Guy & Cosima, had better voices (technically) doesn't mean that I don't like Shannon.

she did a really good job of this song... its different from celine's version. celine's version was more gentle/soft while cosima was more stronger and powerful. both great in their own right. mark holden was right for once, her voice was the best out of that competition - a pity she couldnt win though - all that affro dude sings is pop, cuz thats all he can sing, unlike timeless classics...
