@mike64142000 they are using the C6 body to try to hide what they are doing. They are testing the performance aspects of the next generation vette. Just by looking at the wheels you can tell it has a smaller wheelbase and it's going to have a 7 speed transmission with a smaller 5.5 liter engine if the rumors are true
@Poptartza Yes, about the wheelbase. Is it only that or is the car stretched as well? And how do you think having a narrow wheelbase will affect the handling as it is one of the most important aspects of the Corvette?

The body will not look like that. They only use the C6 body to cover up the C7 Mechanicals. Engine , exhaust transmission (7 speed manual ) , all will be different than the current C6.

What they need to do is make another DOHC 32v v8, The current single cam 16v small blocks are making 2000hp with turbo's, so why not.

Only the chassis, engine, transmission and modified exhaust is from the C7, while the exterior(body) is from a C6.
