  • i live in methuen and i dont kno 1 person that doesnt smoke bud legit manzi should just fuck it

  • Manzi and the city council in Methuen handled it much more professionally and listened to the people on both sides. Obviously I think science should win but understand they had to throw something to the other side after making it an issue. They heard us out and yeah I think they are now aware of that. They saw who was in the room. Good citizens. So Mayor Manzi is a ok in my book. We might not agree 100% on this but he heard us and gave us a big concession on the ordinance.

  • oo dude no doubt bout that i use to be good friends wit his son hes a down to earth guy he use to own rosterans liquers in the center of town in methuen

  • All cities need to increase fines for anyone smoking marijuana, including arresting them and possibly charge them with a felony. Its a harmful addivtive drug!

  • Your propaganda is harmful! Far more than cannabis. I use cannabis for daily nerve pain, tylenol which does work is far worse for my body with long term use. I use cannabis often and at times I go weeks without it when the pain isn't there or the source is dry. It's not addictive. Not like cigs or booze which I have experience with. A felony charge is worse for my family and my well being than cannabis ever will be! Do you really care about my well being? I don't think you do. Prove me wrong.

  • @jenn1ifer

ignorance is bliss jenn1ifer. stay close minded and uninformed your whole life, seems to have been serving you pretty well so far... -_-

  • marijuana will never be legal. only pot heads and drug abusers want it legal. congress has a moral right to change marijuana laws and prosecute anyone using it with or without a medical license. learn from the 70's. everyone fought against it, and the government got stronger. and since then, they can sieze ur house car and bank accounts. so keep fighting, and they will build more private prisions just for non violent marijauan offenders. the law is the law. dont argue. POT HEAD

  • @jenn1ifer

"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so." - Thomas Jefferson

So we're just forced to take it lying down without a fight? If the founding fathers had the type of mentality you have, nothing would get done. Sounds like you just have some personal grudge towards "potheads" or weed, maybe you should take a real hard look at yourself and question your real motives.

Why don't you save your breath, be useful and badger tobacco or booze?

  • @jenn1ifer

Also, the 70s were 40 fucking years ago.

Look at how much has changed since 40 years ago, 18 states medicinal and parts of CA have already taxed it and made it a part of their community.

You just sound like some ignorant soccer mom that sipped on the DARE juice too much.

Open a fucking book, this plant can heal and change lives, yet we put up with tons of other substances replacing it and potentially killing us.

  • ok democrocy not sure if i spelled it right voted to decriminalize marijuana meaning what was it like 60 something percent voted for 2 like they cant just be like no i dont like i dont care if it was voted on i mean wtf

  • You weren't using opinions. You were spewing insults. That's why I was hostile in the first place.

You would smoke pot for the the same reason you drum. It is a fun, different experience. I know this is off topic and personal> but if you claim to not be obese, how much do you weigh?

  • Great video, good to see weed warriors fighting for change Globally.

In the meantime we are having cannabis reclassified in the UK, from class C, to class B, ignoring the advice of their own experts, using reefer madness version 2 to do this, Some of us are going up Parliament on the 28th to protest!

    Win

  • Thanks Win, check out our other one on bostonfreedomrally youtube for the Quincy hearing that was just the opposite of this one where the Mayor did welcome us and compromised quite a bit. I joined up with Scott and we both put out videos and have the url bostonfreedomrally too.

More people, less friendliness from the city of Quincy. But they had to table it, to many of us there to do anything else!

  • Scott and MIke working together and tons of other people stepping up in MA and nationally for this. Awesome to see! The bands, hip hop artists, working class, NORML Audiostash, Time4Hemp, StoptheDrugWar, Boston radicals, bostonfreedomrally, masscann/norml! We got tons of media on these events. Hartford Courant today new video added to their page! And we will have more people at the next round of hearings. We are winning, many more and really haven't lost yet at all!!!!

    Power to the people!!!!!

  • Damn right. Power to the people...... always.

  • does this mean no arrest and criminal record for public smoking?

  • Right now, that is the case. They could change it. The final vote is in two weeks in Methuen. The proposal the mayor has put up is $100 extra for smoking it in public parks, schools, etc. and no arrest, just a civil fine. Town by town things can change. Right now, there's no arrest anywhere in MA for 1 ounce or less unless it's another type of charge like dealing it or being high while driving, etc.

  • Dude this is awesome. I'll have video up from Quincy soon.
