  • WANT.

  • You have 2 options when choosing a monitor. Buy an expensive computer monitor, or buy a cheap HDTV. The TV may cost a bit more, but the image quality is much better and you can have a larger screen area to work with.

As you can see in the video, I am using a 47" 1080p LCD television. If you have the space for it, I would suggest getting something with similar specs.

  • I have worked on standard monitors in the past, but this TV is FAR better. The screen always looks the same no matter which angle I am at, and the color/contrast/brightness is very accurate. Best of all, when I make a large size painting, I can see the entire piece and I don't have to zoom and pan around as much.

As far as standard monitors go, choose based on the quality of the LCD picture. Image accuracy is important so you want a LCD with bright whites, deep dark blacks and neutral color.

  • Im planning to buy a new monitor, can you suggest me anything? i am amateur digital artist.
