I have the original Mk1,2, and 3. But I still want this battle damaged version. You could put the original Mk3 into a like signature pose or something, then have the battle dmg'd one with all gadgets popped out and put him in like a battle/hostile pose. If deciding between the 2, battle damaged would probably be the way to go, since you get more extras, features, and a better paint app.

Are you asking about which one to buy between the old mark III and the new mark III in this side by side comparison video or are you referring to choosing between the mark II (silver) and the mark III. If anything...buy this newer battle damaged version. The paint job is spectacular and you get more bang for the buck (as far as features). :)

Iron Man mark IV figure, do you think one should skip III and just go

to IV? I was about to get the BD Mark III, but the Mark IV looks very

similar. Love all of your reviews btw.

Thanks for your excellent review. It was useful to learn about the change in proportion and coloring. I was hesitant to buy the figure.. I was hoping they increased the muscle mass as the original tended to look a bit slim (but a great figure nonetheless).. and the hand gestures actually added character so don't stop!

the bd color is better but i prefer the v1s scale

As great as the BD is, and it is a great figure, but I find the V1 more screen accurate and it's still the best Iron Man out of the two.

If anybody wanted the BD I would say go for it, it's still looks amazing.

I just got my Mark III battle damaged in the mail today, and I do notice a size difference in the necks. The original although cool has a stubby neck compared to the new improved body design. No stone was left unturned.
