This is fascinating... but what about someone like me, who was diagnosed with major depressive disorder 6 years ago, and I am now so physically addicted to my medications that I get really sick if I miss a dose... btw I've had the tiniest amount of counselling because its so expensive... I'm not able to work at the moment, barely able to take care of myself - coming off meds is scary to me.

People who perpetrate these massive frauds that harm people's lives need to face punishmnet. We do not hesitate to hand out extreme punishments to people who use substances that pose either no harm to themselves or anyone else anyone or pose harm only if abused. Yet people who perpetrate these massive medical frauds that harm untold people remain unpunished. The punishment should reflect the damage done to other people's lives. Life prison terms would be the minimum for these medical frauds.

You know I was considering studying medicine, but I wanted to take an anatomy and physiology course, but opted not to take it because I thought it would be donated corpses, not taking a living cat and then killing it and then disecting it, which was what the course required. When they said that, it was clear to me that only a CERTAIN type in this place was allowed to study any kind of medicine. Imagine the tourment of having those "answers" on a test being supposedly "correct"!

I don't know if they still do, but in the 1980's I sat in on an AA meeting where Psyc docs discussed their own insanity while using copious amounts of drugs that they had access 2. They as well as nurses have the highest rate of chemical impairment of all career groups.Scary-sad stuff because I'm sure they grew up impaired by legal drugs & falseinfo & entered their profession already impaired!

Actually, it is somewhat fitting that the former Divinity School of Harvard has been taken over from the inside by liberals and now its gone this way. It's good to see this issue being addressed. I'm a medical transcriptionist. The cocktail of drugs some of these people are on is unbelievable. Consistently, the patients who seem to be in the best shape are the ones who refuse the cocktail, take herbal supplements, and are well informed about their treatment. I didn't think these doctors did this out of evil. I have figured it is required of them, and they have been educated to view the practice of medicine through the lens of Rx drugs.
