@P90XJourney2010 there is a problem with you file ether its not on the root or its not a .zip something in that nature

i had a lot of trouble with rooting my driod.. then i saw that i was on the 2.1 firmwear.. is that why i cant root my droid?

I have a brand new droid I traded for my iphone. It didn't come with a box or any instructions. I want to use it on pageplus cellular which uses Verizon towers and phones. The phone has never been registered so it is in the emergency call only mode and only gives an option to call and register the phone or to call 911. Is there a way to root or unlock this phone without having to have it activated through Verizon

hey i followed the instructions and when i get to the APPLY SDCARD:UPDATE.ZIP this comes out...

--install from sdcard...

finding update package...

opening update package...

verifyng update package...

E:failed to read footer frpm /sdcard/update.zip

(is a directory)

E:signature verification failed

installaation aborted.

please help

alright well are you using windows xp or vista or 7

go into androzip and look at the update make sure it says update.zip if it does not rename it

well my friend had similar problems with his he could not root it. we did it over and over using different files and finally found one that worked

let me know how it goes
