64 mustangs have slight body differences, such as louvers on the rad support to cool the generator system. Why you would cut out the shock towers and put a gay interior in such a rare car is beyond me. But to each his own.
Its amazing how ignorant people are. If you don't know about something keep your mouths shut. The first mustang rolled off the assembly line on April 17, 1964. Yes 1964. It's a 64 and a half because of how late in the year it was released. model years debut late in the previous year. example 2011's have been out since 2010. now that i've got that off my chest, Awesome car. Tom Nelson builds the craziest engines in the world. Amazing stuff.
@faded2blak The 64 1/2, or early 65, had slight body differences. From April to July of 1964, the Mustang had louvered rad supports to cool the generator system. It was switched to alternators in July of 64, the turn around to the normal 65 car. The side emblems were slightly larger, the door lock tops were painted the color of the interior. 65 had chrome tops. 64 had a 260 V8, the 289 came out after july. The list goes on, just little differences that were changed after July 64.
Thats Tom Nelson genious engine builder. He can drive My car anytime cause if he breaks it he can fix it better than it was.mabey some day He will.I neal at the engine gods feet

@faded2blak They were just throwing these together from falcon/fairlane parts to get them in production.

@SeeProfileForDetails the cops are to busy nutting themselves and not even their chargers would stand a chance against anything they make

You know, I have to say, I think this is one of the best sounding V8s ever. Just beautiful and simple.
It's less than half the size of a 632 V8, and yet there's something about it that makes me rank them togethor.
