  • ted moseby?

  • was a good move just dindt expectthe unexpected

  • Youtube comments come from the most ignorant people. If Cantu had a hand like he was repping, these same people would call Marquis the biggest idiot ever.

In reality, it was great play by both players, who both correctly guessed the other's hand. Cantu put Marquis on a dry ace, and Marquis in turn had to have put Marquis on a stone bluff as that is all that Marquis could beat at this point.

  • @BiggyBollocks So you are sure that that Cantu put Marquis on a ace huh? I invisioned the scenario diffrent to be honest..

  • stupid idiot got what he deserved

  • lmao youtube pros

  • @jibbers0 so embarassing

  • terrible call...the bluff was excellent, cantu knew his opponent just have 1 pair and wouldn´t call if he moves all in

  • @TheKawiD , but marquis knew that cantu knew it , so he call , and well we are front the pc the was playing a lot of hours and sometimes on the same table all the day , so they had a tells about the other people , so we cant say if that be a good or bad call , just that he take the risk of put all his chips on the middle to double up just that.

  • the shove is absolutely brilliant. what exactly does AQ beat here except for bluffs?

  • @PunaniLicker69 how do you know it was brilliant, what was the action preflop and what was the info marquis had about hem? and what cantu is trying to represent here?

  • so glad it happened to cantu, such a doucher.

  • he played it like a set would tony g say!!

  • all in bluffs never work- you gotta slow roll- and bet a random ass number- 2.79 million might have done the job if he waited for 25 seconds.

  • stupid bluff

  • it's not a trap, it's a moron who bad call with top pair

  • @tomrom83 naw he obviously had a read on him and let him hang himself, why else would he snap call if he didnt have some sort of read?

  • Top pair, great kicker, Excellent Trap? ffs...

  • bluff GONE wrong ;)

  • Tiny 200,000...I wish I had that kind of money to where 200k is nothing..

  • @dhstandard22 it's tournament chips. not 200k cash lol

  • @Taigirr Oh, lol...nevermind...

  • I see no trap here.

  • "turning your hand into a bluff" check this chapter in poker books, all the tards who says that it was not a bluff

  • this isn't so bad? i mean MANY people would fold with a top fair

  • How was this a bluff? Guy could easily win with 7's

  • @coreycunninghamkarl

An over bet with 77s when he was raised? Nope, not really. Anyways, fact that he went all in shows that he was bluffing. Its a terrible bet - he'd only get called if he was beat.

  • @AkStinger Yeah but the raise could be a bluff.. Anyway, can't be a bluff if the guy has a hand

  • @coreycunninghamkarl He can't get called by anything worse really so he was definitely trying to induce a fold. He didn't think the guy had an Ace and was trying to represent it. The 77 have no value there.

  • @guitarplayrRJ Cantu could have a set, two pair, or a str8 there... it was a good bluff and a better call.....

  • insta call obv.

  • lol some1 donk snap calls with top pair.. on straight board..

and then says "thants what i thought"? makes me laugh..

  • I hardly say this is a bad bluff. Ideally you want to bluff against top pair which the guy had so it wasn't a bad bluff. Calling 4 million with just to pair is a great call.

  • I'm like 75% sure that's more of a noob call than a good read

    " That's what I thought " --> more like " that's what I hoped "

  • Noob

  • @rylo4328

  • nice trap

  • "That's what I thought" ...lol Cantu Can't Do.

  • there is no trap here. if u think thats a trap... u need poker boot camp.

  • @rickybobby5150 lol you need fuckin bootin out of poker haha

  • @mm1k3y right.... because u can reverse a sentence i should be booted.

  • @rickybobby5150 i didnt mean you i meant the ppl that think it was a trap...

  • he could only beat a bluff, but nice call

  • meh it was kind of a trap. but you can't really trap with just top pair

  • that's not a bluff. it's stupidity

  • Hahahah what a loser that Cantu dude. Nice call!

  • He looked to scared to bluff =D

  • I love you people that say Sick Call!!..What about an Idiot bet??He had to know the guy had the A...He called his check raise....I love it when a Bully gets busted trying to push people around then sits there and says, I can't believe you made that call....I can't believe you made that bet.....Idiot Internet players.....

  • cantu should have bet the flop

  • "That's what I thought"

  • brandon cantu aka sir donks alot

  • 1st there is no trap. 2nd, this is strange line for a bluff. this deep in the ME, many people play for pot control w/ 1 pair hands so cantu is rarely checking two streets with a set in this spot to induce. he is never raising a10 on turn and won't shove a AK or 56 on the river. AJ = a set, so he rarely shows up AJ, 55, 66, or JJ. KdiQdi is possible, but he leads or calls most turns not to get blown off his hand w/ a 4bet jam. his range is polarized, and more bluffs make sense than big hands

  • You people gotta try out this online poker bot i discovered. It operates on a bunch of different sites, and it is 100% totally free. Look it over at freepokerbotXnet (replace X with . ) !

  • where is the trap you dumbass

  • @priksarxida The trap is the small bet on the turn and the check to call move on the river.

  • @martysparty2042 he was late position, so there was no check call in the river...

  • where is the trap you nooob

  • where is the trap you noob

  • Usualy people are good when they make it this far and can lay down just top pair. Cantu's image is what killed him. People think any top pair is good all the time. Which is why he's winning so many tournaments right now

  • wheres the trappin ???? theres no trappin there newb

  • @imahoe613 Umm..on the turn when Marquis made his pair of aces, he called with the best hand instead of raising. Essentially trapping Cantu who fell for it by bluffing on the river.

  • good instinct

  • AHAHAH OUT OF POSITION WHAT A NEWB

  • Great call! For more great calls vote BNP!! :P. loool.

  • lmao what a fucking donk

  • The most stupid bluff i ever seen

  • @pietrogiudice Learn grammar before you talk about someone else's intelligence.

  • @fatsomamacheese Do u know another language ?Certainly not.I try to speak 6 languages.Do u?Of course not.Sometimes i make mistakes.I'm not english or american like u.Try to speak french like i speak english.Have a good day

  • @pietrogiudice So you're a douchebag in 6 languages, excellent. We could talk about high level math or physics if you want. But that's not impressive either. I'd love to play poker against you though lol.

  • @fatsomamacheese Save your money.End of the discussion ,stupid american asshole.

  • @pietrogiudice Now you go to my country of origin. Do you think where I was born has anything to do with why I responded to you're idiotic comment?

  • @pietrogiudice Unless it were to work.

  • @pietrogiudice

Stupid bluff, and what would you say, if He would have a set and AQ would be lose? Or straight, or AK AJ, many and many posibilities. But you are right, that man seems so much like a bluffer, that he must call him, if he saw his shake, when told All in :o) Must be much more confident.

  • @DukeBalaor U r right but bluff is an art.Everybody is not called Phil Ivey or Tom Dwan.In my opinion,he should have bet at the flop and not to give a free card to his opponent. He bet at the turn and the other called. What does it mean? The opponent has something and certainly an ace. With that information i certainly wouldn't go all in.It's just my opinion.Maybe i'm wrong.

  • @DukeBalaor any flush draw, straight draw, pairs and most people with aces would fold that hand. great attempt.

  • @pietrogiudice LOL Noob!

  • @pietrogiudice its wasn't even a bluff he had a pair you tards

  • @AugiTheGreat1 He knew that he was dominated.So it's a bluff.End of the discussion.

  • @pietrogiudice he shoulda done a big raise on the flop, silly guy.

  • thats not a trap WTF!!!

  • it was a trap, he just raised 200k, to let him think he got a weak hand. cantu got trapped and reraised for a million and all in

  • What a stupid bluff...

  • marquis is underrated i like how he plays

  • ask for chip count and then bluff with an all in,i prefere to think that he did this bad move because he was tired

  • trap with one pair?

    YEAH OK

  • ahh..... that's why I never bluff. XD

  • Nah I do OK when I play without bluffing much...if at all. I get pretty lucky but. I would say more people (not poker pros btw) lose doing stupid/obvious bluffs than people who very rarely bluff (and earn money purely on playing there hand to it's best, and simply folding average hands)

  • still sick call wit just top pair.. tough tough call.. nice movde

  • @esucil not sick... 9handed its mostly the best hand.... :s

the 77's all in where just retarded

  • @esucil naw that was easy call with top pair even for all his chips. only worry about river straight (not likely) or pocket pair & 2 pair. but would he have made that move on the turn with two pair like J5? J6? No he didn't bet the flop or the turn initially.

  • @esucil

idno i can see where you're coming from, but imo after u make the weak looking bet on the turn with aq to induce the check raise, you kinda have to just close your eyes and stick your chips in the middle on the river shove and pray you didnt run into anything... i just dont really see somebody using that particular line on this hand given the stack size of the guy with aq (im too lazy to go back and read his name)... but really, what the hell do i know? i will admit, i am not phil ivey

  • wtf was he thinking all in with 77 lol
