I was 5 years old, fixing to turn 6. I heard they were going to land on the 21. I remember wishing they would go a little fast and land on the 19, my birthday.
Hai Gaies!! I think this loonar is a fakes? amirite? i think they fakes the whole things on the movie sets... I know it on good authorities from a professor in Christian Physics and Christian Spaceology that NASA conspired with the gray aliens and they builded a movie set on mars and that's where they filmed the whole moon landing hoax!
Now, thanks to Obumbles, we have no space program, our space station is up for grabs, China is heading to make bases on the moon, we have to hitch rides with the Russkies. Pathetic beyond belief.
@uzimodem What does Obama have to do with the Russian and Chinese space programs...I think you are just happy to use the word Obumbles in your post. You are the pathetic one.
@plormitch :evidenlty you dont read or have a clue. Obumbles killed the Constellation Program. now we ride with the RUSSIKES for $50 mil a head. got that? You are the pathetic one, and I take it your a Obumbles koolaid drinking clone.
I'm 23 and deeply regret not furthering my education past high school. I would love to go back in time and do whatever I could to become a NASA astronaut.
@Sabiancym You're still young. There's no time like the present when it comes to furthering your education. I had a rough childhood, and particularly my teenage years. I couldn't have cared less about my education when I was in high school, and first 2 years of college. Fast forward 10 years, and things changed dramatically. Ironically, my then girlfriend was the one who motivated me. It's been difficult, and I've had to teach myself to be a proper student, but I'm glad I did it.
Unless you have some major commitments like a family to support, I'd say go back to school for a college degree in a major to help you pursue the dream. We tend to regret those things we do NOT do, more so than the things we do.
@FreedomLiberty21 Never since have I been so amazed and proud to be alive. My father was part off the Launch team for all of the Apollo missions, as we watched his work rise into the sky from our back yard, and back then, everything, from Kubric's 2001 a Space Odyssey to Star Trek was not only possible, but an absolute sure thing.
It took LBJ's Great Society, and now Obama's fascist tyranny, to destroy those dreams forever for Americans.

@Sabiancym It's not too late. Don't give up your dreams. Deke Slayton flew in space for the first time at 50 years old.

@Sabiancym 23, your young, very young. If you want to walk on the moon, never give up the dream. Do whatever it takes to make it happen.

What a terrible, heartbreaking shame.

@Kapindur You haven't the slightest, faintest idea what a fascist tyranny is. Not even remotely.
