The color in this does look weird, but I'm not sure if it's just a bad picture or what. For some reason it really cracks me up whenever Artie stares right in to the camera on these old vids.
Dúo maravilloso, DIOS los bendiga, ! que voces tan dulces y que tan bien hacen para la alma ! Soy un gran apasionado por las canciones de Simon y Garfunkel.
@SixtiesPopGold2 i was only 1 in 1966 ,i,m now 46 at 3.30 am in the morning listening to this and other sim. &gr. songs after a brave few beers ,brilliant song
Was there a live band there accompanying them? Because Simon looks agitated, and he keeps kind of stomping his foot and waving his guitar. Seems like he's trying to send signals to the conductor to keep with HIS beat. They usually sing it pretty darn slow.
In the 60s when you turned on the radio, it was common to hear lyrics and music of this quality.

They did appear on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in 1966. This might be that appearance.

@capecodpharmacist I doubt it. things were often lip synced on programs like this in this era. I think Paul was just going for "emotive."
