  • Where da bass clarie at 0:43 ?!

  • Low brass chords at 4:50 need to be louder. 1st trombone on the B natural, and second trombone need to be way louder.

  • really good btone player

  • They should have had a bassoon :/ that how I know where the slow part is. But anyways Yay go piccolo :D

  • YellowJelloXD really? my band is playing this for UIL this year too

  • I play the Bass Clarinet part for this song for UIL this year. :)

    I like it.

  • There was one part where the tenor sax was to loud and the trombones weren't playing loud enough so they got covered up by the trumpets but overall it was good

  • Wow. COP OUT from the first trumpets at 3:10.. why didn't they play the high notes..

  • It was fine. The slow part was a little too slow...do you guys have a tuba/bassoon? I couldn't hear the transition from the fast part to the slow part. Your flutes could've probably played as written at 2:49. At 4:30, the clarinets came in a little early Nonetheless, it was pretty good.

  • I love this song!

Thank you for uploading it, I enjoyed it

  • 5 stars!

In some ways I like this better then the professional recording because you can hear the Bari sax, bass clarinets, and flutes in this recording. All it is missing is the bassoon part :(.

  • Admireable!

  • there is a bassoon part, its basicly the same as the tuba

  • except its more awsome

  • Comment removed

  • No bassoon? :(

  • I know that's all its missing!

  • haha. we played this last year.

my boyfriend played the horn solo and he screwed up EVERYTIME. except once.

  • Our band has played this and Korean Folk Song. If you want hard songs, go for Melody Shop, of When Jesus Wept (which we both played. When Jesus Wept isn't hard note-wise, but phrasing wise, it's one of the hardest and coolest I've played

  • we went to idianapolis this year and were playing this for our spring concert GO WALLER JUNIOR HIGH!!!

  • great job on this piece. Like Mat123ttam said our schools playing this for UIL.

  • I'm playing this song in band. and i think the slow part is a little too slow and the flutes should play it as written up an octave at 2:49. but other than that it was really good!

  • our middle skool band is playin this song for UIL this year. last year we played variations on a korean folk song and place 4TH in state (texas)

  • haha yeah my middle school band placed 9th in state with this last year.

we sounded better!:D trumpets arent loud enough

saxophone solo. well that was horible.

    oboe is just obnoxious haha

and well its not bad but not too good.

  • I can see why your band got 9th.

These guys are quite good. Not perfect, but not "horible" as you so quaintly put it.

  • oh you BITCH!

  • I concur with raptor9110t. Also, shut up, shithead.

  • WHOA! you guys sound so good! I love playing this song! It's so fun! (: & my band rocks at playing it.

i play the french horn and the rips at the end are fun to play (: haha

but i'm the only one in my school who plays it so you can barley hear me, but still! it's fun (:

  • I also play the french horn, and I also like thosee rips at the end. But there are nine of us, so you can here us pretty well :)

  • haha!

    that's fuckin awesum!

  • lucky! we only have 3 f horns and only one of them is good

  • yeah! those "sirens" are the baddest piece of the piece (as in good, obviously)

  • dude we just got thins piece and have a moth before going inot contest.

not good considering the other 2 pieces arent done

  • My high school band played this last year for graduation, really fun song for pretty much every instrument, but my favorite part is at the :53 ish mark since I play Trombone, one of my favorite licks I've ever played.

  • i love this song. i'm a member of my schools concert band, and we are supposed to play this for contest. i really want this song to be the one the seniors get to play one last time at graduation. i'm a senior so it would be really meaningful to me.

  • Were playing this for our High School Band UIL. So far were doing pretty well. Cross your fingers we make sweepstakes. I play the tuba in the piece. Finally a song that is challeging for the tuba!!!!!!!

  • hah awesome song!

  • im the oboe too!!!!!!!!!

  • my school is playing this song. It is amazing.

  • i'm in a 8th/7th grade band and we are playing this

  • I played this song last year. It's an amazing piece. i play bari sax so i had the duet with the 1st chair alto sax plus that really cool vamp part with the tenor saxes and trombones (at 0:52) . i love this song.

  • I sightread this song in 8th grade and i loved it but we didnt play it because some people couldnt play it, even though the brass and the clarinet secton could play everybody else couldnt. An amazing piece and great job NSHS this is a great recording.

  • I played this song when I went to Europe over the summer, it was beast

  • This song was awesome!! I played it in my high school band my freshman year!
