What I don't understand is what stopped these women from looking into the past of these men, there history? Seems to me these women didn't have a problem with sleeping with these dudes. From my understanding the women didn't care if these men would be good fathers, all they cared about was that he was rich and they would come up.

Great job, I remember when heard about stuff like this, I was about 11 and I heard some guy had 7 kids with 4 "baby mamas", it was insane to me, i always thought parents were supposed to love their children. But as a grew, I begin to notice this practice was not only common but it was acceptable, the shock was gone.
