  • STOP SOPA

  • We just got done with the COICA, and now the IP PROTECT. What the hell!?

  • Luckily there are a few people in the senate who still oppose this for example Ron Wyden so everyone support him if you can. And stop this country from becoming a miniature china for god sake... Censoring the internet.... REALLY!!!??? For one thing that's like trying to stop the sun from making helium... and tracking people's usage of is completely against the constitution and the values of this country... mainly our right to privacy

  • @Wheelman286 Oh and a big F-U to the MPAA for being all high and mighty when all they care about is themselves... they don't care at all about the producers, actors, soundmen and etc that do the work all they care about is money.

  • @Wheelman286 From Oregon- yeah :D. Fuck Leahy for even thinking about this bill.

  • if they pass this bil the best way to counter act is to stopp supporting m.p.a.a. theaters and films. Stop watching corporate controll tv shows .If power in numbers this would bring the greedy media down and would force the governemnt to elimiante the bill.Imagin hardly any open watching a new tv show release by time warner .how it would affect them.they be froce to tell the government to remove this bill

  • Good video!

  • Good video, but perhaps unfair characterization of "big media" before the internet.

Big Media gave us many great things, in music and the like.

Afterall, even today much of the user-created content on the internet is based off of elements and ideas created by "big media".

  • I have problems on the internet all the time with my videos and photos being stolen Music all that I would still NOT like any sites BANNED! I have Never had a site NOT removed my stuff when i ask them to. This kind of BANNING will not stop anything anyway Pirates will find another way around it. ALL something like this would do is make Other problems. (larger ones).

As long as Websites respect my DMCA to remove my shit when i find it on sites it does not belong I am good

  • @LizViciousComics - Well put - I think you're totally right. Can you post a link to your work, by the way?

  • Nice little video.

If some people are only moved by the sound of your speech rather than its content, I wouldn't really want them on my side.

And he wrote his own script, so it's not really telling him what to say, it's reminding him what he wanted himself to say. It also saves time as he doesn't have to memorize the whole 5 minute dialogue and start from the beginning if he screws up.

  • Thanks for the video but could you please read/talk with more enthusiasm. I'm guessing you had a sheet of paper telling you what to say? If you didn't it sure sounds like it. With this being so important you need to convey how important it is. If I did not watch the video and just listened to the audio it would be a good lullaby track for me to fly asleep to. Which I guarantee you are going for the opposite effect. :)

  • @xPreatorianx - Haha you're totally right. I'm new to voiceover work, and will defntly take that advice! Thanks!

  • @stolenpencollection

No problem and sorry if I came off as rude. Internets cannot convey emotion. But it was still an informative and very well constructed video. So props. Just improve on the voice work and you'll do great! :)

  • @stolenpencollection Nonsense. This video rules, and the voice work is quite good as it is. Lots of documentaries are like this. Subtle, neutral voices that don't get wrapped in the content but stay cool and collected.

We've already got one Alex Jones we don't need more. Nice video.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • im not sure if eff or demandprogress can win against big lobbyist for coica...... i hope there's no double agent in their midst.... acting like they're fighting for the people when actually their spies for big companies.... neways, i trust eff

but i dont think writing to the enemy is the only solution (petition)..... it's a game of money and maybe they can use the big companies' greed against themselves..... and we'll still have free speech

  • some ppl r actually using zune?? lolz

i hope music industries can think of a way to get money from us, ordinary citizens, and make youtube their tool

because, when im watching videos, i want to be able to download it from youtube with just a click, why do i have to go to some sites like itune or whatever to download it, make it easier for consumers... they might have more money then, just in a different pocket (youtube)

  • Yeah - the companies are defntly trying to maintain control - but I think the model of making people pay to view media isn't going to work anymore - there are other ways to monetize - i.e. the examples in Chris Anderson's book FREE

  • i think we've been headed this way ever since music, games, applications/os's and all that stuff started to limit where and how we can use the stuff they offer

like music from zune marketplace can only be used on zune

applications/os's can only be installed a certain amount of times..

  • wow is this what we evolved to !! see this and hear about this and not seeking or trying to tell about... y do u think they notified after the october time so soon, so that ppl never get time to respond... and by seeing no comment and low views i see they succeeded i guess this is the new democracy heh!!!
