@toothpick93 your actualy right but after the attack in norway the laws here in sweden for chemcals have changed:( but you got the idea and the chemicals so go for it:)
@thegodofchemistry What chemicals are in ur instant cold packs? Urea or Ammonium Nitrate? tho i dont know if it would actually react... ill look around and see... Calcium nitrate is a pretty good oxidizer, Sodium and Potassium nitrate a better but Calcium produces a nice orange flame when burnt with a fuel like Sucrose
@thegodofchemistry How old are you? could you get some one else to buy it? i havent found a good use for urea yet but i normally buy ammonium nitrate if im planning on making sodium nitrate from it

How do you separate the 2?
NaNO3 + CaCO3 = Na2CO3 + Ca(NO3)2
Both of the end products are soluble... how did you test if calcium nitrate was present?
