This was one kick ass band, and out of the 80's. We were being bombarded by the big hair bands. ( warrant, White whatever, bubble gum Nelson, winger, include van halen. Hated ) Somehow missed this band. Listening to this and other vids, Guitars are bitchen. Definitely paved the way for Uncle tupalo, Wilco , Son volt. The Jawhawks wound up with the guitar/singer Stephen McCarthy. Thanks for post.
I don't know where you're from, but it triggers the same memories to me here in Italy! For me those were years of great music... and alcohol-induced unconsciousness!
Memories abound when I see them now...one drunken cold night winter 84 at Maxwell's in Hoboken I was invited to play with them out of nowhere and my brother took a few pics of me trying to keep up with Steve while Sid jumped into the audience and tried playing trumpet too great clip more...
NRBQ original brilliant, but have to say i like this version better, just kinda takes it to a different level!

Lovely cover of a fantastic NRBQ song. This song really highlights Stephen's expressive voice.

Awsome song. Just discovered these guys...Long Ryders. Wish I'd known about them back in the 80's.

Jingly-jangly 12 string sound like McGuinn..very Byrd-like...but different persona totally as a band.
