@camau79 Or just get some bloodhound teams to track them down. If there, they'll be found. If not, and they are there, when a person is killed, it'll be pretty hard to deny at that point. Big cat kills are unmistakable.

No consideration is given to human scent affecting any chance of returning evidence.

When you walk thru areas under rock overhangs. Surely prints would be preserved and more evident as no rain and less wind affects these areas if a big cat existed/roamed the area.

hearing a growl more likely is a deer in the roar/rutt they also growl or even distant cattle.
