Been a while since I've looked at this vid, but looking at our robotics team's code I found out that we're using the cwiid libraries to interface our robot (a tank-drive 3-wheeled platform designed for the IGVC competition) with the Wiimote (has 3 drive modes: Accelerometer, D-pad, and Nunchuk joystick). It's a great control method and the code is really simple!
Heheh, so COD4, With the wiimote and numchuck are possible I will never my xbox360 AGAIN, its not even mine, its my brothers, i officially disown it as a family console, he is the xbox360 fanboy, he doesn't even go on xboxlive, which is the "supposed" best feature for xbox360, pah i love my Pc and wii also love watching TV, but my tv sucks anus through a tube tv lol...if you got that your a nerd, :(
Hey CalcProgrammer1, I have been experimenting a lot with making homebrew games for the wii and I must thank you for making this vid, as it has given me a great idea for my final exams.
You wouldn't happen to know of any coding examples involving the wiimote accelerometer?
The latest version has a feature called "Wubi", which installs Ubuntu as a hard disk image from within Windows. I'm not entirely certain how it works, but the whole idea of it is so you don't need to partition your hard drive or anything to try it out.
Not at all! It's a lot easier to set up in Linux than Windows, actually, because Linux has real drivers...Windows only has "drivers" (user-mode GUI applications that mimic drivers) like WiinRemote and GlovePIE.
Beryl doesn't run on a Pentium 3 850MHz with lousy ATi Rage Mobility 128 (16MB) graphics. Beryl DOES run (nicely) on my other (desktop) PC, AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (2.13GHz) with ATi Radeon X1600Pro 512MB graphics, but the laptop's easier to film with.
But now on my good desktop PC, I upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10 Beta and Compiz Fusion rules, it makes Beryl look stupid, it's insanely easy to install and works better :)
Download the end credits? I have a video editing software called Sony Screenblast Movie Studio that you can type credits into and it will scroll them. I got the music from the "unofficial soundtrack" for Twilight Princess.
Um what do you use to make it a mouse?
