What are you talking about. Savard hasn't retired, so he will be in the game (They can't individually injure/remove players from the actual ingame to mimic real life scenarios).

Their using Boston and Vancouver as their test teams since it was during the cup finals at the time they released the video. They aren't going to remove him from the game because he was injured.

I could go on all day about things I would love too have in the game to make it more realistic. If the're not any major changes from NHL 12 to NHL 13 (because I can clearly see from the trailers I have watched there is minimal to no change at all from 11 to 12) I will not buy it. I have bought every NHL game so far, but I'm starting to get pissed off here. I hope somebody from EA reads this comment.

Size does matter...but only in the NHL games, in Madden they half-ass it and punters can block D-linemen. One of many reasons why I love the NHL branch of EA more than the Madden side.

I think my biggest issue with the graphics in the NHL series (outside of the ridiculously dated crowd/arena/player faces) is that the animations seem to fast. They don't look very fluid at all because players seem to move at 2x the speed of real life.
