@hiynastrike Out of all the Sonic the Hedgehog sound effects they could have used, they don't. They just steal from Mario, Sonic's rival. It makes no fucking sense at all. But it IS ok to use Sonic's theme song in parts of the show.

My guess could be the reason for the Super Mario Bros. sound effects due to the fact to DIC made the Super Mario Bros. cartoons and I was surpised that the effects from the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 were reused in this cartoon.
