Andrew was the first Hurricane I remember, big 7 years old and living in Tampa....Andrew made me fear hurricanes, with good reason.

I think my parents was on vacation when he hit and they got caught in it

@MzChocolateBear - I was living in Melbourne, FL at the time Andrew came through (we got the outer fringes of the storm). A couple weeks after the hurricane passed, some friends and I drove down to see some of the devastation, and our hearts stopped, thinking of all the people whose lives were affected... and I'm very sorry that for some, recovery is still an ongoing process.
