  • Will. WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU ON?!

  • @Pokeakitteh Remember, this is a dream.

  • @Overhazard Exactly, you have to be on something pretty good to have dreams this f***** up.

  • @Pokeakitteh I'm guessing you have pretty ordinary dreams. I've met people who do. Me, I've sworn an oath of total abstinence from all drugs, and I still dream about stuff like Santa Claus telling me he needs a better Internet connection (which I dreamt earlier this week).

  • @Overhazard I had a dream about a rainbow Wobbufett Hula dancing.

Ahh yeha.. i see your point.

  • I dreamt an angel's shadow spoke to me. It was like Peter Pan's shadow, except that it could trade places with the angel.

  • @Overhazard lol santa's internet connection.

  • this is so mind rape going on here

  • Friggin easy boss. For me, of course.

  • o_e seriosly... SEGA replaced Jackle with this b****?

why do they always get rid of the best characters? TT.TT

  • Hey Overhazard. Remember that I asked you if I should get this game?

Well, I got it and.. I got an A rank on this boss, I don't know how i've done it though.. x_x

  • @Sawtje2 You get an A-Rank if you can finish with at least 230 seconds left on the clock. If you know his tricks, he's quite easy to get the A-Rank.

  • @Sawtje2 P.S. I checked back, and it's 250 seconds or more, not 230. Sorry.

  • Chamelan... I HATE YOUR F#CKING LAUGH!!!

  • This game in general has an awesome soundtrack, but this is some of my favorite boss battle music of all time. Same with Bomamba.

  • OMG I had such a freaking hard time with this boss when I first played this game. Took me FOREVER to finally beat him, and you made him look like a push over!

  • @TokoWH You need to figure out the patterns. He's a cinch to beat after that.

  • They made his level more complex than it needs to be.

It took me so long to find and kill him!

  • @TaMako132 That's part of how the bosses in this game work: You need to figure it out first.

  • im 14 years old iv played this before its fun period. and they should make a nights game with all of the nights chacters and bosses in it.

  • a chameleon...OMG YOU CAN'T SEE IT!!!

  • Honestly, I would've liked Chamelon as a boss, had Jackle not been there first.

Should they create another game, I think that Chamelon should be a boss, and Jackle should be a main character.

  • I'd like to see the two of them interact with each other. I don't know if they have much in common aside from using cards as weapons though.

  • That would be enough. I think it would be funny to see a cutscene where they were playing "Go Fish" while waiting for NiGHTS to show up.

  • Between the razor-sharp cards of Jackle's and the living explosive cards of Chamelan's...they'd each have their own deck and not be playing properly at all.

  • Hmm... you have a point.

Oh! What if you fought both of them, then in a cutscene afterward, they would argue over who gets to finish NiGHTS off and they get into it so much that they end up nearly killing each other? XP

  • That would be hilarious! It should definitely happen. XD If they do make another one, Jackle should be in it, and they should make it for more systems. I just have a PS2 so I can't play these games.

  • i agree, i'd like to see one with three people as the main characters, like in sonic 06/sonic next gen, sonic shadow and silver were the main characters and if

sega created another nights game, then nights reala and jackle should be the main characters.

  • @MermaidNeko

    ZOMG, THANK YOU FOR AGREEING!

  • jackle plays a childish game. he trows cards at u? wat a 6 year old. tho chamelean does make cards chase u. hes childish too. and wats up with donbalon crying in the cutscene after the rematch mission. (srry about my nagging on and on,) but still, their all childish.

  • cause the game was really make for kids not teens

  • They should have brought Jackle back and used him instead of Chamelan.

  • What if you battled both of them in one fight?

  • It would be hell

  • thanks but I already have an A on that boss

    *Moonlight*

  • That's great! I had to retry so many times...

  • you saved me! Thanks so much! Next time I get stuck in Will's dream, I'm finding your videos!

    Thanks again!

    *Moonlight*

  • Well, I've uploaded a video for every mission in the game, so you won't have to worry.

Bomamba, an upcoming boss, could be some trouble even after you look at every video you can find though. It's a lot of luck.

  • omg you are a life saver!

  • ......ok they have a puffy clone in the game and a jackle like boss.....why couldnt they just add puffy and jackle in the game?

  • This battle plays way differently than the one against Jackle. All that Jackle and Chamelan have in common is that they use playing cards as weapons.

  • Jackle just throws the cards at you. Chamelan brings the cards to life and lets them do the dirty work.

  • follow the transparant ones, thanks i think it was just luck that i got him the first time on the 2 fight but thanks this will help me get a a

  • Hey how do you beat Chamelan anyways?

  • I explained it in the description in detail: You have to Paraloop and reveal him behind the curtain, then paraloop him again to defeat him.

  • Chamelan

  • Is a hardie.

  • This boss sucks! It took me at least 3 trys to figuer out wtf i was supposed to do. I didnt know what a paraloop was and that totally through me off. (i didnt pay much attenchion in the beginning, thats what i get X3 ) Now he's just fun to beat on.

  • How did you manage to pass Fluffy Catch without knowing what a Paraloop was?

  • Idk, i guess I just started pressing buttons until something happend! XD

  • But you don't press buttons to do a Paraloop. You move in a circle. Fluffy Catch is a hard mission to finish even when you know how the Paraloop works. It's a miracle if you passed it without that information.

  • I know! Its weird, i remember i was SO close to failing,(i remember this last night) then my friend showed me what to do when i kept failing at the Chamelan level. Then I felt like an idiot. lol.

  • Do the leaderboards have the person's name by there time? Cause my Wii is broke right now.

  • I don't know. I never looked at them.

  • I hate this boss!!! the first time I fought him it took me about 40 seconds or so to figure out what i was supposed to do, and then it was pretty fun, but the second time-AUGH! stupid exploding cards...

  • i hate this boss

  • So far, the most I can find is 11 seconds. I guess I got the two rhyming numbers mixed up.

Chamelan was the subject of a whole flood of videos shortly after the game came out. Most of them seem to have gone missing now, but most of them display the time taken when they Paraloop to catch Chamelan rather than what it displays as it's determining your rank. So most likely, if that 7-second video exists, it would've actually said 291 or 290 seconds remaining.

    I'll fix the description.

  • I saw it on another YouTube video. The guy Paralooped at the start, then immediately Paralooped again and caught Chamelan.

Must've cheated then. I can't find the video anymore, however. SEGA must have also removed that record from the leaderboards, as hacked records show up and get taken down ALL THE TIME with Sonic Rush Adventure.

There's still a video up that shows Chamelan caught in about 7 seconds, however. Is that more possible?

  • when i get a video recorder im going to be doing alot of game walkthroughs and request

  • Well, finding him in the first place takes up the time of a normal boss battle, so I suppose they gave the player some sympathy by making this guy a wet paper sack.

  • Yeah, it'd be a nightmare (pun completely intended) for NiGHTS to have to look for Chamelan multiple times, since the first time you play through the game, you're not supposed to have known how the puzzle works. You're supposed to get lost Paralooping around and finding bombs that deduct time from NiGHTS.

Defeating Chamelan the normal way, as you mentioned, DOES take up the amount of time as a standard boss battle. (It's just that Cerberus is the only standard boss in this game.)

  • I know that paralooping makes a kind of black hole but only one hit does him in? Even hard mode needs pushovers I guess.

  • Most of the bosses in NiGHTS are like this. The biggest (and only) enemy is time, and if you can't solve how to find Chamelan, you'll run out of time and lose. He's hidden behind an elaborate puzzle.

And this goes for Donbalon, Girania, Bomamba, and Queen Bella too--the idea is for the player to set up a condition where NiGHTS can defeat the boss, as NiGHTS can't hurt them in normal ways. Just that Chamelan is the only one that NiGHTS attacks directly.

  • He's not cute at all

  • Yeah, you're right. He's not as cute as Camille. Definately not.
