Love this game . There is a bug in the game.

If you will stay back to wall quick step forward and quick back over to wall you would be able to be on another side of the wall . : ) Conclusion : AmigaDOS ,Amiga Worstation would be much more stable then apple software . I now that language well , on fisicall drive could be very stable.

I am 16 years old, one of the "younger" ones and most of the time i play classic games, like Doom, pitfall, flashback, another world, sanitarium, half-life, duke 3d, castlevania, you name it.

I am sure i've played them atleast once.

I do like games from this time, but i do not enjoy them as much i do when i play old classic games.

Graphics were much better back then because you know every single peice of art was hand drawn pixel by pixel and not like today where they take a photo of people and put them into games or use polygons that a program has done and throw on some textures that programs are designed for.... It's all lazy stuff now. not to say it is crap but I have full respect for those who do art by hand like cartoonists etc not the shrek stuff, again looks good but all done by programs. Respect Pencil and pixels.

@xXxstunner Your're right. Story wise Heart of the Alien is the sequel, but considering that the game was released two years after FlashBack and only for SEGA CD ......and not made by Delphine.

It's not wrong for people to reminder FlashBack as the sequel. I do.

One of the best games on the Amiga definitely. The animation was outstanding, the natural progression from Another World and the earlier classic Prince Of Persia.

1:00 always made me shit bricks as a kid and the Delphine logo music was so evil. The whole game was pretty dark really. I miss my Amiga...

This game uses raster graphics, Meteotrance, not vector.. the sprites are just animated in a style that isn't typical to the era. Don't let the cutscenes fool you, either.. it's all raster.

This game was brilliant! I have to give it another go sometime.

I remember there being a similar game playable on the PC - I haven't a clue what it was called and would love to play it again. The only thing I remember that sticks to mind was an item called a levitator pad, and I'm not sure if you had a shotgun-like weapon that you holstered and unholstered. If anyone knows what I might be going on about, can you let me know here or on my channel comments.

Shame my Amiga broke a years back, this was a good game that I never appreciated because I was only about 4 or 5. I recently got it for the SNES in a Market for £3 (best £3 I have EVER spent!) and yes, it IS a good game, but the Amiga version looks superior performance wise.

Oh well. I'm enjoying this game a lot so far. I've just gotten past the TV show and have just landed on earth.

Out of the World and Flashback are two of the very best video games ever made.

The only other games that impressed me after that were Oddworld and Deus Ex. Today it's only about graphics, the gameplay is always the same from game to game.

"Out of the world"... Also known as "Another world" was such an event for me. It made mo completely dive into the action and think as if I was on a... another world? :) I especially liked that guy that was swearing every time I bounced the cage in which I was trapper.. Something like "at a canasta" :D Flashback was...Well... Better than sex :D

I was 23 in 1993... I loved this game and played it thru three times. If you remember, this is the sequel to Another World, which I complete as well. I still own a Commodore 64, an Amiga 500 and an Amiga 1200.

Flashback is not a sequel of Another World...it is Heart of the Alien on SEGA CD. So many people know it wrong.

@silencerforever Heart of the Alien(1994) was released after Flashback(1992) and was not made by Delphine. So Flashback was Delphine's next game released for the same platforms and technically can be considered as a sequel. Story wise Heart of the Alien is the sequel which continues right after Another World stopped.....but released two years after flashback and only for Sega CD. So thanks for sharing the info, but stop blaming people for being retarded for not knowing this.
