kimbo is famous, but not famous from his prowess in the MMA ring. he can strike great. fedor can punch, the best strikers, kick with the best kickers, and out ground and pound the best ground and pounders. and not to mention hes one hell of a flexible guy for his size, able to submit people in many akward positions. kimbo IMO would get taken down in about 25 seconds, after fedor retaliates with a flury from then its over. fedor also has very accurate punches eh rarely misses.

your partly right, but you are ignoring the biggest fact which is that Kimbo has only had 3 PRO fights, if you and the rest of the people who seem to be ignoring this fact would do some research into some of the best fighters in the world, you would realize that in their first 10 PRO fights they were also fighting scrubs. Since Kimbo is like 32, i would say he has about 3-5 years left in him TOPS.... so lets say he averages 3 fights per year (which is reasonable w/ his marketing). He has approximately 12 more fights left in his career at this rate (assuming he will not be a Randy Couture that can hang with the best at 40 yo).

That being said, within 8 fights he needs to fight a Josh Barnett or credible HW and not get killed to gain respect. After his Thompson display, that is highly unlikely! Not enough time.
